History

This patient is a 14 year old female with progressive and worsening spinal curvature. Bracing did not successfully reduce her spinal deformity, and she was growing particularly concerned about the appearance of her back.

Examination

Upon having the patient bend forward, profound rightward rotation was noted in the patient’s thoracic spine. Plain x-rays revealed a profound spinal curvature.
